Roadrunner Trail

We have been enjoying the activities at Bentsen Grove Resort!  Denisa looks forward to clogging class every week, and they even tried to get her to be part of the clogger show at the park.  These season-ending shows are well attended by the park residents and most of them are standing-room only!  Seeing how good the advanced dancers are has made Denisa realize she has wasted away all those years going to work.  She should have retired and started clogging years ago!

We also really enjoy the line dancing classes, and went to the end-of-season line dancing dance.  We could have included a picture of Denisa facing the opposite direction of the rest of the more advanced dancers (that turned the correct way).  But it was just too blurry--and Denisa "accidentally" deleted it.

Even with the classes to attend, on beautiful days we just have to get outside to enjoy the sunshine.  So we tried another bike trail.

We have name it the "Roadrunner Trail" because we saw four different roadrunner groups while we were biking.  Some even slowed down enough for a picture.  We assume this means that Wile E. Coyote was not in the area.

The bike trail weaves through terrain that is covered with mesquite and prickly pear cactus.  Those thorns really inspire you to keep both hands on your handle bars, because veering off the path could be very painful.

Mark obviously does not follow the two-handed rule, because he likes to take action shots while biking.  Most of these shots are taken of Denisa's back side, and those are usually "accidentally" deleted.  Other pictures he takes are close ups of his bike or his shoe.  Occasionally these random pictures are "accidentally" published on the blog.
