One of the trials of living on the road full-time is finding a place to get a haircut. Every time we are back in Oklahoma Denisa plans to loop by Weatherford to get a good haircut from the woman that has cut her hair for years. She used to joke with Judi that she should take her scissors on vacation so we could meet her other places for a good haircut. Knowing that they usually bring their trailer to Fun Valley in South Fork, Denisa texted to see if they would be there in July. The good news was that they were coming; but the bad news was that it was after we were planning to leave town. That was the tilting factor that helped us decide to stick around longer so that we could intercept the Harms family on the road.
They even invited us for breakfast! Judi's daughter had a sign on the picnic table welcoming us to their camp site.
Dave had his new wok on the burner, ready for a batch of scrambled eggs, and they were delicious!
After a breakfast feast and lots of visiting, we got down to the order of business. Judi brought out her scissors and a cape, and set up shop in the most beautiful salon we've ever experienced. Denisa was sitting right below the mountain in the cool Colorado morning, enjoying her favorite haircut ever!
Thanks to all of the Harms family for making our stay in South Fork extra special!
