We left the motor home back in Oklahoma, because we are heading on to Kansas City for some more time with our grandchildren, AND our children that we think are grand!
That's one happy Grand-dude when he can hold both grandchildren at once!
You know how Denisa takes way too many pictures of wildflowers? Well we both take way too many pictures of grandbabies. So we'll sprinkle a few of those pictures through this blog while we explain our plans.
We like to help out when we are close by. So we babysat Eli, while his mother took Carter for her three-year doctor's appointment. On another day, we had Carter while her mother took Eli for his six-month doctor's appointment. Even when your Daddy is a pediatrician, it's still important to be seen by a less biased medical professional for these wellness visits. We also got to help with the children when Jordan had a continuing education class she needed to attend.
It's fun to be around to see these little people with their parents.
That includes some garden time with Mom, where they picked their first bunch of broccoli that we had for dinner that evening.
Another day, we picked giant peonies the size of a head of broccoli to put in a vase inside.
We also stayed over a weekend when our other son and his wife drove to Kansas City. It was fun to have all of us together for a couple days.
Carter adores her aunt and uncle, and this younger couple got good experience hanging out with two littles.
It's not a blog full of travel wonders, but it's how we spent another week of our life on the road. We've been wandering God's wonders for the last six and a half years, and these children and grandchildren are some of our very favorite wonders of all!
